style roulette is just a necessity: document everyday life of two girls living in the opposite sides of the world but with same tastes and style attitudes.
write this blog as a roulette: never expect what to get everyday, there will be different places, different styles, different people.

Kember & Jones

Hallo meine Lieben!

Two weeks after arriving in LA, one of the things I'm missing most about Glasgow (besides the people!) is its cafés. We don't have much of a café culture here in the suburbs (we're all about the Taco Bell) and I'm already nostalgic for all the quirky little places in Glasgow. The concept was so novel to me after a lifetime of Starbucks that I must have taken thousands of photos in the past nine months, so I thought I would share a few of my favorite cafés right here on this little BLOG.

These photos are from Kember & Jones on Byres Road - one of my favorite parts about Glasgow is that even broke university kids can spend Sunday afternoons at places labeled "Fine Food Emporium." You just can't live like that in Manhattan! It's close to the main campus and the cakes are A.MA.ZING. If only I weren't 6000 miles away I'd be running down Great George St for my Americano and chocolate espresso cake right this second. Enjoy!

RIHANNA

Had to share these photos of a Rihanna concert i went to in Glasgow a few weeks ago...my dear friend ANDREA popped over from DC to visit for a few weeks and the night my exams ended we celebrated with this concert at the SECC. Rihanna is an insane performer and everything - costumes, lighting, videos, set - was out of this world. As soon as the lights came up and she showed up on a platform in a light-up ballroom gown both of us were jumping up and down screaming like thirteen-year-old girls. Oh and if those of you outside the UK haven't heard of Pixie Lott, she opened for Rihanna in the UK part of the Last Girl on Earth tour and she's adorable! Look her up...both of them have amazing voices and this concert was definitely an experience, hope the photos will speak for themselves:

hope you all enjoy your sunday and happy father's day everyone!
